Our personnel have many years of experience from complex geo-monitoring systems, mapping and surveying, geotechnical and hydrological sensors, GIS, data management with different presentations and development of hardware and software solutions. PalmSens BV was founded in 2001 by Dr. Kees van Velzen, one of the driving forces in the field of potentiostat digitalization in the late 80’s and 90’s. PalmSens was the first company to reduce a research grade potentiostats to a size that fits in your pocket.
At PalmSens we are committed to make electrochemistry easier, more portable and more accessible for novice and advanced researchers.

We provide a comprehensive range of instruments for most types of electrochemistry with an emphasis on mobility and cost. We manufacture the world’s smallest commercially available potentiostat: the EmStat. While our unique flagship device, the PalmSens3, is one of the most compact frequency response analyzers (FRA) / EIS capable devices in the market.


Founded in 2014, IPM focuses on creating a replacement for today’s method for monitoring water quality. Our vision is a market where water monitoring is fast, reliable, on demand and cost effective.


IPM is dedicated to investigate state-of-the-art technologies and combine different methods to create new concepts that can replace current demanding solutions. The idea arose from the global need for real-time continuous measurements of pollutants in water and soil. At present, pollutants are detected by expensive samples on site by well-trained staff and analyses in an accredited laboratory. This method only provides snapshots of the pollutant level in the site. IPM develops an innovative sensor application to continuously detect the pollutant level in the given environment. IPM's logo presents the idea of customers being remotely able to access and monitor every water drop.
